Hi Holly, Hope all is well with you. Just a little update on Obi. He's been here 2 weeks yesterday and I don't know what we ever did without him. He loves to be held and cuddled. When I'm sitting on the couch, he climbs up and I hold him like a baby, usually he goes sound asleep. It is so funny when he does laps around the house. He just runs here, runs there, jumps on the back of a chair, never missing a step is off and running again. He's been dipping a paw in his water bowl and shaking it everywhere, but last night we were in stitches. Tom had a glass of iced tea sitting on the stand, he creeps up, looks into the glass, and dunks his paw right in and shakes it all over Tom. I read so many places and I'm sure you are well aware, NOTHING is off limits to a bengal. He sits on the back of the couch watching leaves blow around. And we have the most precious conversations, in his tiniest voice we go back and forth for a short time. Tom is like a proud father, he plays with him the first thing he gets up. Sometimes I hear him saying, " Daddy loves his little boy". or "Bless you little guy". I just smile. If no one knew he was talking about a kitten, they'd think we had a newborn in the house!!! I adore this wonderful Bengal; I knew he was something special when I first chose him among several outstanding Bengals of yours. He truly is sweet as you say. My neighbor calls him a "Dog in Cat's Clothing" because of his easy and sweet and friendly disposition. What a boy! And he truly adds to you beautiful home page! Have a great weekend. I'm hoping the fountain will keep him out of Annie's bowl; he keeps splashing her water all over my bathroom. They are getting along a little bit better every day. She still doesn't like him but she'll tolerate him for the most part unless he pounces on her; then he gets his face boxed. Of course, he has now decided that "pounce on Annie" is his favorite game. Silly boy. I've also attached a pic of him helping me play video games. He loves sleeping on the back of that stuffed dog. When he got his booster shots last week he was very groggy and pretty much flopped there all night, and went so boneless he almost slid over my shoulder and to the floor at one point. (I caught him before he could thump.) He is growing like a weed. He's up to 4.75 pounds (from 3 pounds when I first picked him up). Dear Holly, The school year has kept me busy and so have these darling boys. Flash (13 months) and Dexter (8 months) race straight up the cat pole to the ledge. They do this many times a day. We also build a clever outside room with a cat door. It is safe, well off the ground and they go out to sun. When they are bored with that they work out daily on the cat wheel. Flash does this more than Dexter as you can see from his tummy. They are both our loves. This was taken yesterday. I hope all is well with you. Patty, 6-11-09

Dear Holly, Here is a picture of our Trendar boy Flash, now seven months old. He is a magnificent kitten and represents everything a Bengal Cat should be.. Flash is adventurous, confident, and affectionate to all. As a bonus, he is a natural retriever and water lover and combines these talents daily. He loves to share his toys. Holly, We are very happy she fits right into our family. She already comes up to us and wants someone to be around her. She is wonderful. We are so pleased. Holly ~ Taz�s personality is one of his many things we love about him, and would not change him for the world! We were really surprised on how high he could jump and his incredible strength. He can open up a door with his paw and will jump down from shelves. Taz leaps from the top of the refrigerator to the table to the floor. He does have one bad habit which is putting toys into the toilet �..YUCK!!! Here is a picture of Taz�s first Halloween. (Sorry, I had to dress him up and Taz was a really trouper about it.   Doug kept apologizing to Taz and kept saying never again. It was a total mom moment for me. You know it was his first!!) He got catnip and a stuff animal for Halloween. You gave us a wonderful addition to our family. Patty and Doug   11-07

Hi Holly, My cat has decided that she loves, and I mean LOVES it outdoors. I am outside a lot and let her go with me, (we live out in the country, not near a road). She hangs out by the pool, and the outdoor water fountain. She just loves to lay in the sun. So far she has never ventured outside the confines of the fence. We have a big tall privacy fence around the pool, even tough there is no neighbors : ) She is out the door and stretches out in the sunshine for as long as I will let her.  She has even been known to play on the first step of the pool where the water is 3 inches deep. A few weeks ago we were grilling out and eating outside and she was out there with us. There was a butterfly she was chasing, and she leapt up, not paying attention and fell in the pool. Cats can swim very efficiently and fast when they want out of the water : ) We are building a new house, we take her there to look around sometimes. However, a house framed up is like a jungle gym for cats. she climbed everywhere, getting up so high. We had to get a ladder to get her down she definitely wants to be at the highest point in the house. When the house is finished the cats and dog will have their own room. I say cats, as I will get more once the house is completed. We are stealing your idea to give the cats and outdoor area that other animals can't get in to, it will have a fountain and outdoor play area with a shade tree and some perches in sunny spots for them to lounge on. Inside it will be heated and air conditioned like the rest of the house ( they will have access to the whole house) but their room will have built in cat trees and beds, storage areas for food and litter. and a little litter box area confined away by a little half wall. when it is all finished I will send you pictures. My husband and I knew we will always have cats a dogs, so we designed a room in our house just for them. I know the contractor thinks we are crazy, but it is nice to have a place our pets can be to have fun while we are at work or if guests come over (my mother in law is allergic to cats) : (  I found some cute paw print border to put up, and they will even have a TV or radio if they would like. My cat will love the built in perches and cat trees, she loves to lounge at the highest point in the room, on top of my fridge or china hutch. When it is all done, we will be checking out your kittens page and paying you a visit! Amy 7-10-2007
