 A Bengal may look larger than most cats but this is because 
they tend to be tall, long and lean.

  Females are normally between 7 and 12 pounds.
   Males are 3 or 5 pounds heavier.   

When spayed or neutered at an early age both males and females grow the same and usually to a larger size then intact Bengals.
Early spay also insures there are no temperament problems like spray marking that are normally associated with intact breeding cats
